LANXESS is a stable and resilient specialty chemicals company headquartered in Germany. Looking back on a long history in China, we currently have 10 subsidiaries, 8 R&D centers and production sites with around 700 employees in Greater China. Here, we work closely with our local partners to develop market-oriented solutions that meet local market needs.
We manage our operating business through three segments: Advanced Industrial Intermediates, Specialty Additives and Consumer Protection. These include 9 Business Units, through which we work with a broad range of applications and markets.
We deliver high-quality products and solutions, provide reliable supply-ability and are continuing to expand our competitive position in the Chinese chemical industry. As part of this, we provide technical expertise and localized innovations to support the sustainable growth of our Chinese and Asian customers, among others through our Asia-Pacific Application Development Center in Shanghai.
